So we removed the strap from the base package, reducing the bag’s price by exactly the cost of an expensive strap. Straps for Waist and Bike Bags

All our waist and bike bags have a standard 40 mm wide loop to which the strap attaches. For these, we offer three main options.

1. Double-Sided Strap (Side)

This is the most versatile double-sided strap with a center buckle that adjusts on both sides and has a very wide adjustment range.

• Advantages: Suitable for people of any build, it can even be adjusted for a child by neatly tucking the excess ends under the elastic.
• Disadvantages: The webbing ends don’t have rigid fixation, so the strap may loosen slightly when the tension angle changes. Additionally, the center buckle can press into your back if you’re behind the wheel of a car.

2. Single-Sided Side Strap

If you’re looking for an option that doesn’t press into your back while driving, check out the single-sided side strap. It has a buckle sewn to only one side and a thoughtful free-end fixation system that easily pulls through a half-ring.

• Advantages: You can easily change the buckle position (for right or left hand) by simply reattaching the strap, and it doesn’t loosen on its own.

Now you choose for yourself: perhaps you need a narrow strap for EDB for light city trips, or the motorcyclist-friendly leg strap for EDB. All these options also work great with our new EveryDay Pouch.

Bike Mounts

If you plan to use bags directly on your bike, for secure front mounting you’ll need a handlebar mount, which, by the way, is already automatically included with all our bike bags. For maximum stability and reduced swaying while riding, you should additionally use a stem mount, which fits most models except the compact IGB Mini.
