Fidlock magnetic buckle: what it is and why you need it
Fidlock magnetic buckle — a premium metal fastener to replace the standard plastic buckle on your bag strap.
The buckle connects magnetically: just bring the two halves close to each other and they snap into place on their own — no need to aim or feel around for the right position like with a classic buckle. Disconnects just as quickly with one motion. The metal body withstands more use cycles and load than a plastic fastener of the same type.
The buckle is compatible with four Blackpack straps: EDB strap, double-sided strap, and single-sided strap in L and M sizes. Sold separately from the strap — it’s a buckle upgrade for those who already have one of these straps or are choosing it together with a strap right away.
How to Choose the Right Strap for Your Blackpack Bag?
The choice depends on your needs. Read more in our article or watch the video below:

Good day. Please tell me, if I order a Fidlock will it come already installed on the corresponding strap?
Do I need to order the strap separately and the Fidlock separately?

Fidlock?

Good day! The buckle looks quality, but doesn’t always unclip with one hand. I understand it’s supposed to be easy and simple 🙂
… so overall the product itself is quality, but not worth it!

Ordered the FlexBag together with the Fidlock, the bag is just awesome!!! But the strap with Fidlock for that kind of money – disappointed, constantly stretches and almost every day I have to adjust the length again, very sad about this
