Fidlock magnetic buckle: what it is and why you need it

Fidlock magnetic buckle — a premium metal fastener to replace the standard plastic buckle on your bag strap.

The buckle connects magnetically: just bring the two halves close to each other and they snap into place on their own — no need to aim or feel around for the right position like with a classic buckle. Disconnects just as quickly with one motion. The metal body withstands more use cycles and load than a plastic fastener of the same type.

The buckle is compatible with four Blackpack straps: EDB strap, double-sided strap, and single-sided strap in L and M sizes. Sold separately from the strap — it’s a buckle upgrade for those who already have one of these straps or are choosing it together with a strap right away.
