I’m sending you my EDC for the blog, since I’m a fan of your products and couldn’t resist the opportunity to share what I carry in my Blackpack.
I also consider myself like-minded with Sashko—I’d say I’ve been inspired by him in many things and even in life philosophy, so personal thanks for that.
To the point.
Actually, I don’t carry all of this with me constantly—it depends on the situation.

- Flexbag, came to replace EDC 1 because I wanted to try the new material and move away from the “tacticool” style. It’s really great in terms of convenience and organization, lightweight, everything just as I imagined. The only thing I’d like to add is another carabiner on the strap (the same as for keys) in the second pocket of the outer compartment, so I could clip my wallet.
- The Blackpack wallet itself. Replaced a heavy and bulky classic leather wallet. Format-wise, it’s exactly what I need.
- AirPods in a silicone case. Well, that’s obvious.
- All-weather notebook—Rite in the Rain. Don’t always carry it, sometimes it just sits there just in case. Not exactly a very necessary item. But just as a cool feature—it’s neat and also convenient format-wise. Made in the USA.
- Fisher Space Pen. Again—I rarely write, I just like the body design more, this particular brass version that develops a patina; it can also write underwater and in other harsh conditions. Haven’t tested it myself, but I believe it)—from the buy it for life category, I like that concept. Although in Ukraine, any item you have with you can become that)) well, that’s a topical joke.
- Leatherman Charge+ black. I also have a custom bit holder from Zhovtok and bits from Epicenter by Toptul. Much better than the flat ones, actually functional. Yesterday I assembled a table with them. Didn’t even take out my big tool set. But that was more of a test drive. Of course, it’s more convenient to do such work with full-size tools. This is more just a backup for when you need it here and now.
- Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar Titanium watch with MIP display. I also have a bike mount for it, use it with a heart rate monitor as a bike computer. Got it on sale when the 8 series came out. Always dreamed of buying one with a titanium band, looks great in my opinion, close to classic watches. Functionality-wise, it still fully satisfies me. Let’s see what the 9 series brings.
- Microtech Glykon knife, front-opening automatic, a thing for the soul. Body is aluminum + titanium, blade is M390, coating is their signature Apocalyptic. Looks great and also very practical. And overall, the knife is very sharp and has character. I love things like that, with character.
Bought it in memory of my dad, before certain events; for some reason I think that if he had the opportunity, he would have bought me one too.
- Titanium comb from Lviv craftsman Calti.
- Zippo Armor Original. Unpolished brass body, similar to the very first Zippos, thicker. I don’t smoke, just a cool item also from the BIFL category. Sometimes I light a burner with it for making coffee outdoors. Even though I have to refill it each time, that’s also part of the authenticity).
Well, that’s about it.
Thanks for your attention, I hope you like my EDC.
Thank you for making quality Ukrainian products.
Wishing you continued growth and all the best!
