Beautiful EDC Based on the 1st Generation IGB Mini

Let me provide an introduction so you can better navigate the structure.
To save your valuable time, I’m offering two options: a short description with a collage and a long one with detailed descriptions and several photos.
First, let me explain my EDC philosophy. I’m a minimalist and don’t like clutter, so I divide everything systematically by levels:

• XS — basic minimum: phone, watch, wallet, keys with essential keychains
• S — waist bag, which I’ll tell you about below
• M — backpack with tech gear, into which the waist bag fits as a base
• L — bikepacking/cycling system
• XL — comfortable maximum in the car for camping, overnight stays, or survival

SHORT VERSION
The perfect combo for going out — my favorite Blackpack IGB Mini waist bag, which I’ve had for 5 years now. During this time it’s remained in great condition, even though it’s my main bag for both cycling and everyday use. I’ve modified it with elastic bands and carabiners for additional functionality.
Gadgets: Garmin Fenix 7X Solar, AirPods Pro 3, Nitecore NV5000 power bank with wireless charging, mini e-reader.
Practical items: custom Victorinox Climber Deluxe knife, keys with keychains, leather wallet, organizer — from repair kit and first aid to USB cables. Everything compact and always with me.

LONG VERSION
The center of my system is the Blackpack IGB Mini bag. It’s a waist bag I fell in love with long ago, and after years of intensive use it’s remained in great condition. A must-have for everyday carry and cycling trips.
From personal discoveries: wearing it on the waist at the side is much more comfortable (and here I’ll complain a bit ) because the classic way of wearing it on the chest really irritates the skin on the neck in summer from the strap. I made several modifications even before Blackpack released the EDC version — added elastic bands and carabiners for securing a jacket or water bottle. The bag has a patch with Kharkiv embroidery
Gadgets and technology: Garmin Fenix 7X Solar watch — my personal trainer, flashlight, navigator, and I could shower it with more compliments, but I’m afraid Apple Watch fans won’t handle it. Nitecore NV5000 power bank with wireless charging. AirPods Pro 3 wireless earbuds. xteink x4 mini e-reader for those moments when I want to read without taking out my phone, and of course the phone I took this photo with — iPhone 15 Pro titanium version in a Benks Kevlar case.
Knife and light: Custom Victorinox Climber Deluxe knife — a relic that’s no longer produced, not a competitor to multitools, but I value it for its lightness and ability to fix genuinely unexpected things. Nitecore NU02 flashlight — compact but powerful, combined with elastic bands on the bag it becomes a decent headlamp. On the keys are keychains: a Nitecore Tiki flashlight replica — because it’s more interesting than the original, Victorinox Classic SD, a small pen keychain, USB lighter (can light something by drawing power from the power bank or phone), whistle with pocket clip, and car keys.
Detail organization: In a compact organizer: repair kit, mini first aid kit, flash drive with adapters, USB flashlight, SIM/SD card case, piece of mini paracord, inCharge cable, and Garmin adapter.
Everyday items: Leather wallet for cash and cards, hand sanitizer, perfume, ATB nano shopper, and when needed — sunglasses in a leather case.
I don’t carry junk, everything is in constant use, a true set assembled through mistakes, over the years and experience, even before I understood what EDC was.
